New Driver Lessons

If you’ve never been behind the wheel before, our new driver lessons are perfect for you. I’ll guide you step by step through the basics, from understanding vehicle controls to building your skills in low-traffic areas. With a focus on safety and comfort, you’ll gain the confidence you need to progress to more complex driving environments.

• What to Expect: We start in quieter residential areas, allowing you to get familiar with the controls and handling. As your confidence grows, we gradually introduce busier roads and more challenging driving situations.

• Duration: Flexible, based on your progress. Typically, beginners start with 1-hour lessons and may increase to 2 hours as skills develop.

 

Refresher Lessons

If it’s been a while since you’ve been behind the wheel or you simply want to brush up on your driving skills, our refresher lessons are designed for you. Whether you passed your test years ago or are returning to driving after a break, I tailor lessons to rebuild your confidence and address specific areas where you need improvement.

• What to Expect: We’ll begin with a relaxed driving assessment to identify any skills or areas that need practice, such as parking, roundabouts, or multi-lane roads. Together, we’ll focus on making you a safer, more assured driver.

• Duration: Typically 1-2 hours depending on your needs and comfort level.

 

Mock Tests

Want to ensure you’re fully prepared for your driving test? Our mock tests simulate real driving test conditions, giving you the chance to experience the format and pressure before the big day. We’ll assess your driving exactly as an examiner would, and provide detailed feedback on areas for improvement.

• What to Expect: The mock test will follow the official DVSA test routes where possible, including common manoeuvres like parallel parking, reverse bay parking, and independent driving. After the mock test, we’ll go over any mistakes and create a plan to help you improve.

• Duration: Typically 1 hour, simulating the real test length.

 

Motorway Driving Lessons

Motorway driving can be daunting for new drivers, but with the right guidance, it can become second nature. Our motorway driving lessons are ideal for those who have recently passed their test and want to build confidence on faster, more challenging roads.

• What to Expect: You’ll learn how to enter and exit motorways safely, use slip roads, overtake slower vehicles, and maintain proper lane discipline. We’ll also cover dealing with heavy traffic, roadworks, and variable speed limits.

• Duration: 2 hours to ensure you get sufficient motorway experience.

 

Country Road Driving

Driving on rural roads requires a different set of skills due to the unique challenges posed by winding roads, blind bends, and narrow lanes. Our country road driving lessons will teach you how to stay safe and in control when driving through the countryside.

• What to Expect: I’ll show you how to navigate sharp bends, deal with oncoming traffic in narrow lanes, and maintain a safe speed when visibility is limited. You’ll also learn how to handle hazards like wildlife or farm vehicles.

• Duration: Typically 1.5 to 2 hours.

 

City Centre Driving

City driving can be stressful, with heavy traffic, frequent stops, and numerous pedestrians. Our city centre driving lessons are designed to help you feel comfortable in busy urban environments.

• What to Expect: You’ll practice driving in city traffic, managing bus lanes, navigating roundabouts, and dealing with complex junctions. We’ll also work on parking techniques in tight spaces and how to handle rush hour traffic safely.

• Duration: 1-2 hours depending on your needs.
